Terrain
There is a typical continental terrain with rich vegetation details around Zlin. Both coniferous and deciduous forests cover the hilly land of ravines and erosive forms. Near the town, a relatively dense web of paths and tracks together with unruly valleys demand careful way choice planing. On slopes there are stones and rocks in some areas. Visibility is mostly very good reduced only in areas with younger forest. Runnability varies from good to poor in areas with seasonal undergrowth.
There is also a sand dunes area some 60 km south of Zlin. This popular winter training site offers a very flat terrain with medium-sized contour details and a symmetrical configuration of tracks. Covered by pine trees these woods suggest a very good visibility and excellent runnability.
