Prague division of fo-ot reports

Not only in high mountains of Zlin, but also in Prague are great opportunities for trainings in WOC-relevant terrains. Deep valleys of Vltava and Sazava rivers, rocky slopes and varied vegetation are good simulation of terrains, which will be used for championship long distance.
With a support of PLANstudio, we have taken part in seven trips to Prague surroundings. Seven so far, but many more will come. Courses set by Gob and Kala were focusing on route choices, contour reading and building physical endurance. Many thanks to silver-blue tuning super race vehicle, which has driven us to such a legendary map as "Nigger in the woodpile", "Old man", "Reptiles" or "Jack Sparrow's Parrot". Most of them were drawn in late 90's, but all the hills are still there.
Ranking of attendance lead Sosak and Mraz with 7 points, followed by Bet and Romca (3), Dana (2) and the last is of course Ignorant (1).
Some of these trainings were run with a GPS unit, so far in a testing mode, but we hope, it will help us to analyze route choices.
